Default Motorcycle Jack or stand or homemade

What are you guys holding your bike up with when tinkering with it?

I was trying to think up a way to rig up my floor jack today when I detailed my bike and then cleaned and lubed the chain rolling the damn thing back and forth

Is that a motorcycle one? If so I guess I will dig the 20% coupon. From the paper.

I found one of the Larin (red hydraulic motorcycle jacks) on craigs list for $30. Works great.

I have a harbor freight dirt bike stand. Lube it up first before using it, and it may help to muscle the bike up a little bit while lifting it. It's typical HF cheap stuff.

Before splurging $30 for it, I used a cinder block.

Also use a nice hydraulic lift when getting serious. That one's not mine...yet.

I bought a pin for the rear axle bolt and some threaded rod so I could use my old sport bike stand.

I have a couple of these team mechanix 1500lb lifts. They are ok, not sure if I would be trusting a big cruiser on one though. But for lighter rides, it works well. A plastic bucket still works well when the other lifts are tied up.
