I use the same Bridgestone Ultra Heavy Duty from bike bandit. I use a new tube every time I get new tires, and save the old one as a spare. 13,000 miles and 4 sets of tires. No flats.

I use the Kenda Tuff tubes, too. They're excellent quality. Of course, they aren't made in China. I like the fact that they are sort of a medium weight heavy duty tube. They weigh less than the super thick tubes and are much more durable than the thin tubes.

I used to run Ultra Heavy Duty tubes, and noticed what I would call rubbing between the tube and tire carcass...perhaps because I run the air pressure as low as 15 lbs on some really rough terrain. Or, is it from running 70 mph on hot pavement when it's over 100 degrees...even though I air back up to the mid-20's? Either way, it was another of the reasons I changed to the Tubliss system. So far, it's really been great...plus, I now have rim locks front and rear....they are part of the Tubliss system.

deej, this old man rode the first Honda Elsinore that I won the State Championship on as well as the first YZ Yamahas. We did not know what a 4 stroke bike was good for but riding on the road. My next step was to run Loretto Lynn's, stepping stone to the professional level but gave it up as college was more important to me. Age means nothing, just makes me ride harder, faster and challenges me on the Double Black Diamond slopes at Vail.

I hope eveyone who is not an old man is still able to do what I do when you get to be one!

Jeez, Wynn. You must be old.

I'm only 66.
