Yes, a "backpatting" is a good term for a ride that is a step up from stock(maybe) for that member who detailed, or modded a ride that is a step beyond. A ride that is unique or would like to be ridden or appreciated by others. A lot of good knowledge is gained by looking at the full scope of others' rides. Yes, I will vote and pat a fellow rider on the back in acknowledgement for a great ride.
