Mirror Mounting Bracket Clamp - Replacement Options?
I am looking for the left side handlebar mirror mounting bracket clamp. My wife's 2006 klx250s fell over (my fault) in the garage and broke it off. The mirror is in fine shape - just the clamp is broke. I was looking around on bikebandit and similar sites, but it is almost $30 for the bracket. I am sure we are not the first people to break this, so I was wondering what other people have done to fix this. Is there a generic clamp available, or have you switched out the mirrors and hardware with something aftermarket? Thanks for the help.

I don't remember the cost, but I simply got a left hand mirror mount for a 95 Kawasaki KLX650C dual sport. It is a single mirror-only mount, two pieces so it's easy to put on, Part # 13091-1718 holder, mirror roughly $22 and 92037-1621 clamp, lever holder $18 with common 5x20 metric fasteners. Call a shop and see what they cost there. My prices were from Cheap Cycle Parts and may be higher if they don't charge for shipping, I don't know. I was thinking I had maybe $30 in the whole thing back when
I had the one on the left, but decided to put one on the right rather than have the mirror in the master cylinder in the event the bike went down and the mirror mount broke. I'm thinking that's way cheaper than a broken master cylinder.
A short cut would be to get one of the one piece cheapie lever/mirror mounts, cut off the lever mount portion, file and grind it down to look good, then you'll have to take off the grip and switches to slide the mount on the bars. But they're only maybe $5 or so.

Post a photo. I have a Clutch perch which includes mirror mount that fits something older than the 2009. I ended up with it in a swap gone bad where I sent a zeta mount with short levers to another forum member and got this older mount that wont fit the 2009 mirrors. I ended up ordering a new one from BBandit which should be here this week.
