It's an 06. It will match the klx. Don't have to buy a helmet for a different coLir bike. Bonus. Your blue is actually must nicer and modern looking.

the only thing severly outdated on the 500 is the headlight...I had an all black 500 for my first bike...maybe their is an aftermarket light assembly?

I will have to check it out. I will throw in one of my brighter Phillips bulbs. I put one in the KLX and it is a lot brighter.

Maybe the projector is junk. If so I will add some driving lights to it.
