Went to the Dr. this morning. Lots of calcium deposits around the fracture area and it's looking good. Doc says I can start bearing weight now and walk with my only limit on weight bearing is dealing with the pain. I'll be working into weight bearing 25%, 50% etc with both crutches, then one crutch, then walk carefully around the house, etc.
He said no motorcycle for at least four more weeks when I see him again. I protested, but he was adamant. Then hopefully he will release me to ride some pavement and easy roads.

Thanks, Deej. Yes, the riding jones is tough. Bikes are running all over town. The riding buds are out two or three times a week. Three bikes in the work parking lot this am including one owned by a lady that I work with who picked up an '07KLX250 right after I bought my '06. I let her ride my bike for two blocks and she was hooked on it. Hers is still pretty stock:

And it gets worse, or better....
The GF has her m/c safety course next weekend and she'll be ready to ride. She's got the jones too. We went to Cycle Gear over the weekend and found her a sweet pair of Sidi Canyon boots at 1/3 the list price - couldn't pass that up. And she was getting all excited over the "girlie pink" dirt bike gear.
