Thumbs up Mayhem on the MTN 2009

Thought I would share a video that a local dualsport member created around a recent ride he had organized. He simply posted on our local forum that he was heading out for a ride on the 20th and was looking to see who else was interested. It was really cool arriving at his house, treated to coffee and brownies and watching as the bikes rolled in, and kept rolling in. 20 riders in all, not bad for a little Nova Scotia town. Enjoy.

Around here mountains are really more like hills...lol....but where the guy was changing his flat was on the mountain. The trails were covered with large rock and water holes...quite a challenge (for me anyways) In some places you had to "launch" your bike of the rocks, drop about 3 feet to the trail and navigate a water hole...then out of a water hole and up 3 feet over a large rock. I really enjoyed the run. Too much fun riding for anyone to really get any action vids though. I gotta get a helmet cam for next years ride.
