I just realized something a minute ago, I always clicked on the attached thumbnails, but I just discovered that all you have to do is put your mouse cursor over the pic and it opens........yes I'm slow that way. Sorry for the thread jack, but Oldphart, what kind of apprentices? The reason I asked is that I was an apprentice Electrician back in the day (1985-1990) and I gotta say most of the electricians were lazy and knew less that I did.

Twas auto mechanics, and my comment was for people in general who think they will sound or look stupid by asking questions, asking might save you a lot of problems and money. Hope that clears it up for you, Sparky(electrician).

I agree 100& Oldphart. One of the things that really stands out in my mind from my step dad was that he told me to never pretend you know something you don't and second never be afraid to ask questions. It has served me well over the years.

I see what you mean those handguards are different. Not to sure how to mount them, maybe one of the bright sparks will chime in

Yeah, the stock guards mount with the lever screws... I can't seem to find room for these handguards. If anyone else with aftermarket guards can chime in with some pics I'd really appreciate it.

Default guards

Looked up those Powermadd guards and saw mattmans pics they sure are different, don't seem to go into the bar ends. Found a couple of pics of when I put my guards on you can see where they go into the bar ends and if you follow the aluminum bar in you can kind of see where the inner brackets fit to the bars, much stronger in my humble opinion.
