Default Low front fender.

While I was reading all the different threads about whatever, I remember seeing a motard with what looked to be a front hugger half front fender.
I don't remember where I saw it. [sm=why.gif]

So, I'm looking for a little help. If anyone knows about such a fender... please post it's whereabouts.

Hey man how are things up north? Let me do a few searches with my magic fingers and see if I can come up with something. Hang on I'll be right back.

Sorry deej, those aren't it. Also, the weather is getting better but they've got me chained to a desk. Maybe this weekend I'll get to take it out for a little while.

Tremor38... now we're getting close. Any idea what that is?

The fender is the A-Tech 'Stringer' available locally in Japan. That green KLX250won 8 straight victories in 1997 at Tsukuba Circuit in Japan and wasthe precursor to the D-Tracker.

I totally agree with you Deej, but Ricky asked, so Ricky shall receive. Sometimes I think the young Japanese guys just want their rides to look different..at any cost. Thatlast onelooks like something out of a comic book...you don't want to know how muchall of those plastics cost!Comics books are super popular over here among both adults and children, so maybe that has an influence.

I personally don't like the look of low front fenders on a Motard, but, as you say, to each his own.

OK, looks like I have to set you guys straight.
I'm going to keep the high fender or go to a high motard fender BUT I want to add a low - short - maybe a half fender just above the tire.
Here is (just) an idea for you to see where I might want to go:

I just wouldn't use the whole thing.
Maybe like this:
