I have been reading this forum as well as advrider since may 06. Ordered my 07 klx 250 in june of 06 and took delivery at the end of August 06. Since I broke it in using mototune method I started my mods as soon as money was available (took me a while to convince the wife I NEEDED a new exhaust and such). The mods I have done to date are free stuff , kdx snorkel, uni air filter, carb rejet and last but definately not least aMuzzy full system (big bucks here in Canada)

I sure hope to make it out your way to ride one of these days. I ended a Trans American bicycle ride on Friday Harbor Island a few summers ago. I didn't get as far as Vancouver, but I saw it across the water from where I camped on the western shore.

Welcome, I am a fairly new member myself and I have done all the mods, except the Muzzy. Question for you. How much louder is the Muzzy than the stock muffler. My stock muffler is drilled 1/2 " and I can't tell that much differencein noise,but I would like to add the Muzzy if it is not to loud.

 

I would say it's fairly loud but in a good way I live in a small village and it tends to be very quiet in the morning hours, but keeping the revs to below 5000 does just fine as the sound doesnt seem to travel all that far. However if you crank on the throttle it does tend to turn some heads I have the quiet core insert installed after I drove a couple of days without and decided that without it I would definately get some complaints. But like i said I live in a small village so a person can't sneeze without someone knowing about it.
