This is the trailer I use. I bought it at sams club for $600. It is well worth the money!! Here is the truck I pull it with.

Nice trailer, I would much rather have one of those then that goofy hydraulic lift, or whatever it is. You can use this trailer for multiple things and still have room in the pickup truck for more.

Good idea on strapping the ramp to the hitch. Will remember that one. [sm=smiley20.gif]

One note on rolling down the ramps, the front brake may just lock up on you, I know it used to on my atv when unloading it and we had a small scare with my dad's Honda 1100 when the front tire started to slide. When unloading the bike (if using ramps) put the bike in gear with the ignition off and use the clutch as a rear brake. The leading tire has the most stopping force, its the same reason your front brake is so strong on the street.

+1....That's is the only way I back the bike down. Don't ever sit on the bike and try backing it down. You will soon realize that your legs are about a foot short. Good reminder for everyone here thanks bryantjt. That reminds me of another good point. If you are on a tight single track trail and you are trying to get the bike down a really steep part on thetrail, just shut off the bike and leave the bike in 1st gear and use the clutch to ease it down.Remember though you have a lot of compression in first and the back end can lock up if you have speed and pop the clutch. I always walk/ crawl the bike down using my legs as out riggers and slowly letting the clutch do all the work. Its pretty easy tomaster in just a few tries. Make sure you either have the key off or the kill switch or other wise you could re-start the bike with compression and start picking up speed you don't necessarily want yet.[8D]

Thanks. the trailer dose have a 1500lb rating.
When I strap the bike down I always use 4 straps,When I was younger a buddy and I loaded our yz 125s up into the back of my pick up and was heading to our local track when one of my straps let go and the bike fell into his bike. Thank god it was not the other strap on my bike or it would have fell out of the truck while driving down the freeway!! That would have been BAD!!! VERY BAD!!! I don't know why the strap came loose I must of hook it up wrong somehow. But from then on I use 4 straps! 2 on the front and 2 in the back, just incase.

Bill - I use two 9' single ramps that I purchased at the John Deere shop. They are much more universal - as I have not only the KLX, but 3 street bikes, a 4 wheeler, and a Lawn Tractor. Though I've seen people ride up ramps on two wheels ... I don't suggest it. Sliding to a stop thru the back window, or stalling halfway up and landing on yer azz with a bike on top of you can ruin your day.I load theKLXwith a "potato-potato" easy on the throttle walk up ...
