Default little custom klx action

nothing spectaular here, sorry to get your hopes up. just had to move the licence plate for the 3rd time. before it kept getting stuck in my wheel when i would go off jumps or take a hard landing. so i removed the helmet locking device and fabed up an aluminum bracket in the shape of an L to be mounted onto that existing tab and to hold my licence plate. As for the light used to light it all up, i just used that same one i've had on there for a while, the LED strip one. does a pretty good job i have to say.

And for all the lawyers in here i asked the local police if i was aloud to mount it up and down (side ways) they said its A OK, just needs a white light to shine on it.

oh and i painted my white plastic guards. the fork ones and the rear break.... it'll probably just chip off and look ghetto in a few weeks but it looks pretty pimp right now. haha, i used the "metalic" black paint, have to say, it does a nice job. no complaints here

heres a few pics to hold all of you snow bound buddies alive. haha

I like the black caliper guard, unsure of the fork guards tho, but with black side covers, I think it would look sweet.

did you have to lightly sand out the scratches (if any) or even sand at all for it to hold the paint?

I lightly sanded my plastics before I painted them for the first time. It held up well against chips/scrapes but you will wear through it with your boots in a couple areas on the side panels. The fusion does hold up well though.

Ummm...wtf are your boots doing up by the side panels? Inquiring minds want to know.
