Limits of the stock gear box

I guess pm's work, but I find it inspiring that you are able to get that much out of an engine designed for so much less. Maybe it's just me, either way good job on finding the limitations. It's good info to have in mind.

can i ask, why did you spend all the money and time on the klx250, instead of spending it on a bigbore motor?

I build race car top end motors, this was just a fun project for me (cheap) but for someone to price out it maybe in the 10,000 range not sure as i did the work myself or traded my work for others.

My wife has a z3 BMW that I've done a lot to now that has some wiz bang stuff in. I can't have anything stock no fun in that now is there. My race car made in excess of 1300 rear wheel hp and I street drove that. I had a Fzr that made 230 rwhp with two stage nitrous nothing I have is left alone.
These are just some examples of my own projects now I have some customers that have big dollar toys.

Now that must be a sight to see. I have been involved with pro street projects that were in the 8-900 hp range.
1300 ?? FBA baby. What was it?

1994 firebird, best run was 8 ohs @179 still had more in her but oh well. That was on a et street true 10" tire and no bar.

Thats quite a trick to get a street tire to hook up that much HP.
Was that bottle fed?
