I've been looking for a nice thick one to match my new red '09. Here's what I found today, what do you think?

I removed the pad because it was such a pain in the *** to get the key in/out

I want a bar pad, but I don't want to have to get new bars, mine are in perfect condition, it just has that stupid brake line bracket on it. Any suggestions/ Oh and that red fox pd looks great. But mine would have to be green and have that old school look with Kawasaki written all over it. No old school jokes either.[8D]

 

roll the handlebars back. I did mine as they were too far forward. Now it's a much more relaxed position and the key isn't obstructed at all. the pad ran $14.95 btw.

deej- my suggestion? just buy a red '09. no obstructions anymore on the crossbar. you know you want the red baby.

Oh and Deej, I have a Kawasaki crossbar pad on mine that's green and black with room for the brake line - got it at the dealer.

 

Here's mine, I found it at a Kawasaki dealer near where I live. Never seen it anywhere before so I bought it right away.

I bought a kawi pad from the dealer and just cut about an inch off one side to fitI should add that as a cheap mod
