Looks like adjustable leverage and throw...I too am curious. After riding a bike with a hydraulic clutch, I suddenly realized there is no reason to have a clutch pull this hard, cable or not!

Wow, a hydraulic clutch, I've never heard of that before. But man that sounds cool!

They are 6 position adjustable, just like Ahnh said, 3 fingers easy, pinkie with small hands, my black faded to almost an anodized copper look...Decent levers for the money I paid, I wanted a 2 finger grip, not possible without hitting other fingers.

Also be aware, the brake lever does not have the same contact depth as the stock lever. I.E lots of slack before the brake is engaged, I could grab it to the bar without locking up my front tire.

it's the "from china" ninja 250r short levers...seen different "brands," but they are actually all same from what i can tell (prices have gone up on ebay)...unbolt the stock levers and slide in the new levers...super easy...i don't have any problems with the front brakes...not sure why rockabilly had problems with contact depth (are your brake fluid levels okay?)...it's just a button for the front brakes that gets pressed..

for the clutch..just make sure to have the dial loose and you'll see it align to open...unbolt the lever and carefully slide the clutch cable barrel out...be very careful not to break the very fragile clutch kill switch....slide in the new lever...put the clutch cable barrel back in...bolt everything down...

i will recommend having a some very thin washers to place on the bottom of the lever...this will help with the "loose" up and down wiggle...very thin washers..had these levers for probably 10,000 miles of stop and go city use...hit the levers hard by accident once on a wall...had zero problems...beside the color fading..

Yes but the length of the ninja 250 lever niple? protruding out in contact with the brake reservoir is less steep, so it take more of a pull to depress the button, I figured this out after weeks of brake bleeding trying to figure out why my lever felt mushy.

When the pin that gets pushed by the clutch lever breaks off the interlock thinks the clutch is pulled in always. The safety feature is gone. The starter will work with the bike in gear clutch lever out.
