Thanks. Funny, I have gotten tired of the green frame and like the silver frames. I have often thought about powder coating it silver or black. After a while you always seem to want something different. The aluminum braces are the cross bar for the Fasst Flexx handlebars.

Yes, it is a Maier fender with a Baja Designs tail light. It is a work in progress. I haven't come up with turn signals or a place to mount them I'm happy with yet. I have some small stalked LED's that I was going to mount on the Baja unit but on the right side it puts it directly in front of the exhaust. Looking for a flush mount I like for the fender.

Yes, it started out as a 2001 KLX300.

 

allthough I'm not quite sure what u mean (english as a second language only here)... but I guess mine is a stock bike.. just love riding it and just started to ride this year.. so happy lookin at the "bad" KLX in this thread.. very inspiring.. hopefully will go in the same direction..

AgoosSS what mods are involved to install rear fender?

 

For the KLX300, the fender is a straight bolt on replacement. The Baja Designs tail light is bolted to the fender with three supplied bolts. It comes with four bolts but I only used three. I bolted a piece of 1/8" thick nylon reinforced rubber to the Baja unit and mounted the license plate to the rubber. The reason for the rubber piece is the Baja unit is not as wide as a license plate and gives the entire plate some backing.
