That's the one! (edit) except it was the regular size, not XL.

I use the PMR rack as well and have a 1 gallon Rotopax gas can on the back, then strap my backpack on top of that. The PMR rack is well made and well priced. That pic looks like a PMR.

Got the KLX way-low and cut down the seat so we hit the trails last weekend for her first dual-sport ride. Due to a road closure I had to put her on some more difficult trails than planned but she did great. She took the MSF course to get her license 10yrs ago but hadn't ridden on her own in ~5yrs. She enjoyed this more than she ever did street riding... even with a couple tip-overs and a decent off that resembled my NSD sticker.

Did a few things to my klx250sf over the week. You guys know what a stock bike looks like so I won't bore you with those pics. Most of you know that you have two choices for mounting the zeta style handguards with integrated turn signals, either with the supplied hardware, which would be a pain to do with factory handlebars, or the way I did, drill and tap. I have attached pictures of the project.

I picked up some new handlebars before I installed my Zeta Flashers. I didn't even realize it, but my stockers were bent pretty badly from a very minor drop a week or two before. I was trying to take some pictures after washing it, and the wind knocked her over (that's the last time I park on a downward slope like that!). Point being, the stockers are prone to crumpling. Definitely worth it to drop an extra $50 on some aftermarket bars, imo.

Default KLX In Wales for 2 days off road riding.

Here are some pictures of this weekends riding in Wales. The KLX kept up with the best of the KTM's, Huskys and other more competition orientated bikes. With 200miles of trails taken in over the weekend hte KLX behaved perfectly never missing a beat over the very rough terrain or in the deep water. I think by the end of day one it raised a few eye brows as to what I could do with the bike and where it could go with only some Continential TKC80 Twin duro tyres on.

Has the KLX been lowered? Ground clearance seems to be close. Or, maybe it's just loaded down.
