hey dynobob, i have a couple of ?s:
- When did you get the wolfman bags and how do you like them?
- Do you have the support/rack from wolfman as well?
- i like that suit too. who makes it?

i just realized that isnt you in the picture and that your "klx" has dual exhaust.

Yep, my Dad is riding the KLX...almost 70 and on his first off road trip.

I really like the Wolfman bags! They're versatile (can roll down small or expand taller), totally waterproof, and extremely tough (the bike took a nap on them several times). The rack is the TCI Outback rack. It is designed to mount Pelican 1520 cases but we didn't use them. The Wolfmans hold nearly as much and are safer for you and the bike if you have an "off" (I did use the Pelicans one day on the Husky).

The suit is an Olympia Stealth mesh suit.

I have diverse 6.0 rear springs and Moto pro up front. Suspension is dialed in. Any one know where to get MX style raise seat/foam? That should give my but a bit of height and get my seat to peg relationship better.

I left the first and last ~20mm without holes so it could nicely fit into the chamber dividing plate in the silencer. Unfortunately I have no photo of the thingy, and I messed up the thread of one of the 3 end cap screws so I won't touch it again unless I have to...

That's a bummer that you don't have pictures. I have the 2 Brother's M4 (I believe) in carbon, it's a shorter can, looks great on the bike but even with the quiet insert it's too loud for my taste. I would like to put it back on but the neighbors bedroom is right next to the garage and at 5:30 am, that's a lot of noise with the choke on.

I have M4's on my VFR and it sounds amazing but they don't make a pipe for the KLX. I have heard that the FMF makes a quieter pipe but I would like to hear it before putting more money into it.

Actually, the fix I did is pretty quiet at low load, but if you twist the throttle, it´s definitely louder. That's what I like about it, though. It´s actually possible to go in almost stealth - or LOUDNESS mode :-). It´s nothing fancy, really, about the hole pattern. It´s 5 axial rows of 6 holes in each row, ordered in a staggered pattern:

o o o o o o
o o o o o o
o o o o o o
etc.
