LETS POST SOME PIC OF YOUR BAD @$$ KLXs
#1153
Here's a pic of my 351 in touring mode over the Memorial Day weekend. At the last minute I opted to take the KLX instead of my Husky. The weather was less than ideal. The first day we hit extremely high winds. High winds on a light bike and being a light rider=flat out scary! The next day we hit pretty extreme cold (well, considering it was May and in California!). We were prepared for the mid-50's. When this pic was taken it was a damp 30 degrees--not too fun in light gear, thin gloves, and with my grip heaters disconnected! But now that it's a memory, it was a great time...

I think I can say that the bike is safe here. Ain't nobody jumping my fence and taking the baby away.
And that's was previous ride. '96 Cagiva Canyon 600. Tractored alright, but I couldn't take it to the places I wanted to go, too bloody heavy (KLR650 heavy).
I almost got myself WR250R, but on test ride in dirt I couldn't stand revving the **** out of her to get it going.
Two days later I tried the green bike and liked the torque delivery much better. Deal was done.

jckid, I like your bike set up, very nice. How do you like your wolfman bags? I've been looking at tank and tail bags. I noticed you have a windshield, I have also been looking at finding/making one just to cut a little wind but not being too obnoxious....
