85 mph on the highway.14t 13t 70 how about you riders ????

 

Got mine to 84-87 mph (135-140km/h) on a short stretch but im still breakin in the engine with a new 300cc bore. Fmf full exhaust line stock carb stock gearing. Maybe once broke in on a good day with no wind on a good stretch with 40 psi in the tires...im pretty sure I could get it to 150 km/h. I will see that in the next few days...

 

it isnt a sport racer bike...... lol...... but i think i got up to 80 (indicated).

 

120kms 14t front sprocket, don't know with the 13.

I'm still in the process of breaking-in my stock '09 KLX, but I briefly hit an indicated 80mph while accelerating to avoid a truck which was merging onto the highway. The bike still had something left at that point (this is with the stock 14T gearing).

Cool ... is your bike an '09 model?

Has anyone checkedtopspeed on the '09with GPS? Most motorcycle speedos measure about 10% high from the factory.

BTW--the digital readout and layout of the "dash" totally rocks on the '09.

80 is as high as i will get it... no steering damper in the north texas wind = speed wobbles.... enjoy your pavement sandwhich..

 

74mph on the flats with stock gearing. I have try the 13t on the freeway yet. I might never get the chance now I just bought a street bike

 

Had mine up to 85 mph (GPS) once. I think a steering damper is a good idea.
