Default Let the sickness start!

I just purchased an HMF slip on exhaust for my bike this afternoon.

My coworker was of no help.

He sat there: Buy it. Buy it. Dude, seriously, buy it.

Now, Im going to make him pick up some jets for me so I may rejet.

How much is the high flow KDX200 snorkel costing? Im pretty sure I want a snorkel, just becuase I've been known to take some stupid bets and hit some deep water.

Check the common part numbers thread for the part number and cut and paste the part number into http://www.ronayers.com/ - part number search field on the left.

Hey thanks for the help NoBrakes

About the pilot # issue, Beings Im at 6k feet, you reckon a #35 (stock pilot) will do the trick, or would a #40 be in order?

HAHA! I'll be very interested in how this works out for you. I was considering the same product. What is kind of strange is that the HMF website still doesn't list a slip-on for the KLX after they said it would be available as of last June. Did you have to phone-in the order?

Found it on-line...

I googled my little **** off... I'd pull up the page history, but I did it at work on my laptop.

HMF's website that has a thread with their recommended jet settings for their pipe using the stock header, thats probably the best starting point.

I'm defnitely not a carb expert, so I'm not the best person to be recommending, but just guessing I'd say the smaller pilot since your air is thinner.

That was my thought as well.

I can always try the 35 first, but man I hate the thought of pulling the carb any more than I have to. I've done it once, maybe Ill be better this time around.

It gets easier with practice, but it's still a pain.
