Default LED headlight for KLX

Has anybody tried a LED bulb in stock housing? I found a 60w H4 LED bulb on EBay. I don't know if it will work with high/low or not. It does hook up the same but that doesn't mean anything. It's 1250LM so it should be bright. Just wondering other people's thoughts.

Gotta admit that I haven't seen an LED bulb for the stock socket. I've seen quite a few complete complete aftermarket LED light units to replace stock stuff that's supposed to work pretty darned good...for a price.

I have no clue on how to post a link to it off my phone. I even took pictures of it and I can't even post those. Only thing I can tell you is go on EBay & type in 60w H4 LED driving bulb. That's how I found it. I looked again and it said low beam. So I guess it won't work. I did find some 16w LED driving lights. I could mount them on the forks & wire them for low beam & make the 60w the high beam.

Not sure if these are the same LED h4 bulbs you we're talking about but this guy isn't very impressed with the ones he bought!

No that isn't the bulb I was talking about. I've seen them and they suck. Ok , I did some more digging on EBay and found some led that are for motorcycles. Type in motorcycle h4 50w H/L led bulb. These do have high/low beam. I plan on picking one up and trying it. I will post how they do.

How smart is your phone? If it can do "copy" "paste" you should be able to post a link to the bulb. Their sales might go up.

If it's 60W, then there's no advantage to it over a regular bulb. If it's supposed to be 60W equivalent, yet is only like 20-30W, it could be worthwhile.

I would have a 35W HID in mine if I could find a place to put the ballast.

KLX-er I believe my phone is smarter than me...lol. I'm still rocking the old I-phone 3GS. It's close to 5 years old...lol. Anyways , I'm still looking at a HID as well. Think I will try the LED to be different. If it works out then cool , if not then I'll try the HID. Ok I just ordered the LED. Soon as I get it in and see how it does then I'll post about it.

Red line base is the seller. It is listed as "motorcycle 1-1800LM H4 H/L beam 50w Cree LED headlight bulb". That's the best I could do.
