I'm just curious to see if anyone's been able to compare them. How does the 351 big bore kit on the KLX compare to a DRZ400sm? I had to sell my DRZ last December, I'm about sell my 01 Triumph speed triple and I'm trying to decide if I should do the 351 kit on my KLX, or sell the KLX too, and buy another DRZ

I had the DRZ's little sister, the DR350. I like the KLX331 MUCH better than the DR350. I have about the same tractor-pulling abilities, with less weight and less height. The KLX351 will probably be a little less in total HP than the 400, but, I'm not sure how it will compare on the trail, where weight and handling make the most difference.

If you do the math regarding selling and buying and re-registering and insurance, etc., the KLX upgrade to a 351 may win by many dollars.
