Thats pretty cool. The only thing I would be concerned with are the cam grinds. I want to keep engine reliability up on my machine. Not sure if the cams would reduce engine life. Very interesting though!

On the Web cams used in this instance, those are the fairly mild versions. I considered installing a set of these while doing my 300 kit. I looked at the numbers of the three versions offered from Web, and these are a low to mid range model not requiring any special parts like springs, etc. They're probably fine for any level of use...though I haven't personally used them.

just put a plate on a YZ250. Much more fun and way cheaper.

I think if they made a street legal KLX450 I would go buy it tomorrow. Well... if my wife would let me that is

'looked at lightspeeds site and all that was offered for the klx was the "glide plate". Which is the only thing listed as supplied by lightspeed that I thought should definalty be metal not carbon. I was hopeing to find carbon fiber fork guards listed at a reasonable price.
Maybe I will contact them and see if the fork guards pictured were custom made or modified.
