Does the KLX stock exhaust street legal or only off-road?

 

It probably depends on state.... Here in pa, we dont have any emissons on bikes, so it doesnt really matter, im sure cops can give you a ticket for a bike with really loud exhaust, example: harleys with straight pipes.... they are just obnoxious.... you will be fine.

 

I ride by police daily on my KLX with the 300 exhaust and don't get a second look, even when I'm cranking up through the gears in town so it aparently isn't loud enough to warrant attention. It is loud enough that I wear earplugs on longer trips though.

 

I have one & do not consider it loud. You will be fine provided you do not have emission inspections (I dont).

 

My Muzzy is what I would consider on the loud side. It has the quiet insert, but its really loud. However I have learned to control how loud it is in certain situations. Shifting up and backing off the throttle can help.

 

hey deej here is my klx250 with my procircuit t-4 I custom fit the exhaust header to make it work but jesus is it super loud.. lol

LOL deej when u come to florida we should go for a ride.. tons of trails here at my parents.. (I dont have the room at my apartment and an hour drive) I do the mods when i get the time.

 

a PC T-4 is on the obnoxiously loud side i would have to say.....2 hours on that and you'll be having the ears ringing for sure afterwards.

 

Crap I was starting to narrow my choices down and the PC wasnear the top of the list, but I really don't want it too loud.
