I did the recommended springs but went a tad stiffer so n the valving. Still have plenty of adjustment to soften it up for slow trails

More feedback on the racetech stuff, I would recommend it. So far, the spring combo is right on for me. I softened the high speed compression shim stack a bit from the racetech recommended settings, and the bike is very supple of the chop and square edge stuff in the slow speed sections and the high speed hits, but firm enough that the bike can handle other trail obstacles up to 40 mph plus so far. Very cool. I don't know how to classify my riding capabilities, but trending toward intermediate would be a guess.

Between the power mods, gearing, and suspension I have had a lot of fun doing the upgrades and the bike is a much better trail bike than the way it came out of the box.

If you go to Racetech's site they have a product search and a spring calculator. I used a tad softer spring then what they suggest.
