Nothing close enough to really see, I'll clean up the bike and take some tomorrow.

Don't think so. I just put the larger snorkel and I think the quantity of air getting in is enough.

Dualsportman: The bike breaths OK now, I don't think that drilling holes in the lid is necessary.

The KDX snorkel is much larger than the stock one (see pics) and it directs the air directly to the middle of the intake filter.
