KLX250S plastics from Maier Manufacturing
I have replaced all my plastics for less than 200 bucks, shipped and taxed all the way to Seychelles. The plastics and all other spares for the KLX are manufactured in Thailand. Stuff is cheap as chips over there. A friendly forum member purchases stuff for me in Thailand and ships it to me. I just give him beer money, and he is not even that thirsty. ( by my standards anyway)
Or at least a source to look up parts there; there are guys going from here in the Philippines to Thailand or vv regualry'
Heck with some of the discounts offered to fly there I might just jet over there myself.
But I'd want to communicate with a shop in advance to know what they and how much
Is this Friendly Forum member is open doing more shipping from Thailand, I'd be interested.

A full set of plastics these days are about 3000baht - just under $100 + postage + beer!!

There is a direct line to the parts department at Kawasaki but it's pointless me posting the number, unless your fluent in Thai & I mean fluent!! PM me for the number if so. They manage to bugger up 50% of phone orders by my Thai speaking friend btw & it's always better for me to visit in person....get my drift.
Dear Friendly forum member
I live in Hawaii and have friends who speak any asian language you can think of. Especially Thai as I eat at a great Thai food place my friend has down the street from school. I would love that number in Thailand to the plastics shop if you do not have time in the immediate future. If you can help me out though I would love to add to your beer fund. If you can help me that works as well and I will contribute to beer fund!
Please help me, I really need to get them. Does the full set include both sides forward and back, front and back fenders (6) pieces. Or does it have more like radiator fins etc...
$100 + shipping + beer? How do we go about this exactly? How did you two work it out.
Please get back to me and let me know.

I really need that number in Thailand for the plastics. Or will pay beer $ and get a set sent to me in Hawaii. Please Private message me the number or information on what I can do and how to proceed getting you to get the plastics for me?

Low season comes after April here and that's when I will have plenty of free time to fanny about with bikes & parts again.
Just so you guys understand, there is way more time involved than you think to opening your box of shiny new parts & me drinking the free beer!! 1. we have to email each other quite a few times establishing the exact parts required, then work out how to transfer me the cash. 2. Take the transferred cash to Kawasaki (a 1.5 hour 25km) round trip to order parts & leave a 50% cash deposit. 3. One week later I have to go back to Kawasaki to collect your parts (another 1.5 hour round journey). 4. Get a big air freight packing box & carefully pack your parts into it. 5. Take box to the post office get it weighed & find out the shipping cost to your country. 6. We do some more emailing & work out the shipping cost & you transfer more cash to me. 7. I take your big parts box back to the post office again, spend ages filling in ems recorded delivery forms after waiting in a long lunchtime queue to finally ship it to you!!!! Phew and that's if everything goes to plan with no problems! I really have no time for that kind of hard work until low season.....sorry folks
It sounds like that takes the better part of a day, or even a whole day, of your time. That should be worth a whole lot of beer money! Very generous of you to even consider it.
I just bought a rear fender and tail light lens for my '06. About $85 USD and a month waiting for it.

came across Kawasaki klx250s 2009 for parts ...seems like he is selling the plastics for $250...red...
Fares right from my local Philippines airport to Bangkok and Phuket aren't bad normally, and if I grab a promo price-even cheaper. It might work out that I could come and pick what I wanted up and fill my suitcases after what you order for me came in..
He Joel, I know and really appreciate all the effort that was involved in getting all my Kawa Krap from you in Thailand. That's why I did not name drop. But you had to open your big mouth. Now you could start a Kawasaki spares export business to all parts of the world, sit back and watch in astonishment as your Beer Belly grows and grows.

I certainly wont be doing it again in hurry & definitely not, just to save someone some money...it has to be for a person living in a remote country with no parts available. And low season!!

The price of beer is so cheap here & my beer belly really doesn't need any more help from the forum.
