klx250s/I got one
well after looking at the ninja 250 and the ninja 500 i went to the dealer to get one. but after looking at the klx250s and riding it I took it home. what a great machine this is for a newbie like me. i'm 48 and the only bike i've ever had was back in the 80's a ft500 honda. this thing is good on the hwy to, rides very nice i can see over everybody and that's imporent when cars are stops up ahead. to bad the break in is 500 miles this bike and me are ready for a trip to the mountains. thanks Ron[sm=happy046.gif][sm=smiley20.gif]

Ron,
Congrats on the new bike. I know it will do you well as it has done so for me. I'm quite impressed with my KLX250 and intend to keep it around for a long time.
Being a newer rider, I would suggest that you take one of the excellent courses offered by MSF. I teach the courses on a regular basis and see so many folks each weekend that have decided to take a course. If I could only videotape the first and second day so they coule see the changes in their abilities in that short of a time.
It is worth the money!
