Anyone has one installed or fitted from another model? I did not find nothing for the front yet. I got one for the rear that I took from a 2006 Ktm 640 Adventure (the line that links both caliper on the front) that fit just right on the rear of the Klx. So if anyone has found something for the front end please share.

Bill may be the only one making a braided front brake line. Thanks for sharing Martin I was wondering about a back brake cable.

 

Ktm part number for the front transfer line that fits the Klx rear is 60013013000.

Give Bill Blue a call. He makes the front and rear lines. I belive he can also make any length that you would want. I have one and it is nice. I also belive that the wr450f front line works on the klx.

 

I talked with Bill yesterday about his lines. Front $55 and $33 back I think, don't quote me. He can make them any size. He said he got rid of the block and hard fluid line the goes under the fork with his setup.

 

Sorry for reviving an old thread. I just called down to Kustom Kraft and the guy on the phone said they don't sell the stainless brake lines anymore.

I need a new brake line for my wife's 06 KLX 250s and I'm wanting to change it over to braided stainless (and get rid of the hard line that runs UNDER the FORK!!- what were they thinking with that design!?!).

I've found Galfer lines online, but they are for the 09-12 KLX 250s- I'm not sure if those would fit the 06 or not.

Any help would be appreciated- the bike is out of service until I can figure it out.

Thanks for the link. For some reason when I googled Bill Blue, the website it took me to was Kustom Kraft. No wonder the guy said he didn't make brake lines! LOL!
