Default KLX250S Discontinued?

Just went to Kawasaki's web site and the only dual sport listed is the 650. Is this the end of the line for the 250S ?

Probably not. Just need to sell off all the old stock gathering dust before bringing in new ones. All that's changed since the '09s is the colour of the plastics/graphics.

Yeah, probably like the missing '08 model, but honestly I'd hope it was discontinued if it meant it was being replaced by something better...but that's most assuredly a pipe dream on my part.

Better...HA! I wish KTM's cost 5k new

It would be really interesting if they came out with the klx300s, seems simple enough, they have the parts already, people would buy those things up.

I'm also hoping that KTM would eventually do something like a more affordable KTM in the vein of a 390 street legal enduro based on their 390 Duke motor. They have the parts and availability to do so if they feel the market would support it. I think it would be a kind of new and improved DRZ400 "type" bike, while not pushing that 9-10K mark.

Thank god I got mine when I did then....maybe we'll see a efi 250s in North america, or a factory 300 offering.

The 2011 model in the US was skipped. Canada got one along with all the other countries.

On the Kawasaki Canada site (page found by Googling 2015 KLX250s) they don't show the 2015 but have the 2014 @ $5199 and the 2013 @ $4899 ($CDN).

There's some good evidence that Kawi just has too many older ones to get rid of...it ain't no KLR in popularity contests.

I've been waiting for Suzuki to update the DRZ400S (6speed, USD fork, lighter, restyle, etc) for ever now. If they do that and drop the sky high seat to a manageable 35", I would be a buyer.
