I like to golf a little, but I have often thought of how cool it would be to rip around on the course with the dirt bike.

Good one.Where did you find that picture?

I'm going to look at (supposed to be any way) a DRZ400R tomorrow.I think I'll wait to see what else pops up though.I'd really like a DRZ400SM instead. The two guys that have the WR's for sale are very hard to get a hold of.I guess they don't really want to sell them. The longer I wait, the more money I'll have to spend.

I looked into the whole HP issue. The wr has a 77mm bore and a 53.6mm stroke which should have more horsepower but not torque. It has a much shorter stroke making it a faster rever. The Klx has a 72mm bore and a 61.2mm stroke giving the KLX the torque thats needed for a small cc engine. I never rode a wr but just using the the numbers as fact. Want hp bigger bore with smaller stroke. Want torque smaller bore with larger stroke. Most engine are a square bore engine to give balance of both. Thats way the KLX makes hp with a big bore you increase the cylinder volume.

I think the KLX is a great bike because it's so damned much fun. I see no reason to get pissed off because someone likes another bike more. Motorcycles are like ****-they're ALL great. If I had a job I'd be looking hard at an F800GS but I'd still keep the KLX for the insane smile factor.

Yup bikes are like ****...the more you play with them the happier you are!!! But just remember if it has **** or wheels you are going to have problems with it!!!!! I love my klx wouldn't trade it for the world. And no I am not married to it because i can ride it whenever I want to not when it feels like it!!! Dude you get what ever bike you want to just do your research and get what feels right to you. If I could do it over again...I would buy a klx and ride the snot out of it!!!!!
