Default KLX250 tank-August-IMS-3gal!

Chuck Wheat @IMS products sent me this e-mail today:
Chuck Wheat [chuckw@imsproducts.com]

No intrusion at all, thanks for the email. We plan to have a 3 gallon tank available for the 2009& up KLX250S by the end of this August. The mold should be ready this week for the first test parts so things are coming together. We would be happy to send an email when it is ready for sale. I can offer you some pictures of the pattern that was used to make the mold so you can get an idea of what the finished tank will look like.

He sent me pics of the prototype, but I don't know if they'll post or not - but it looks real good and looks like they did a fantastic job of fitting it so it looks right. If you want to get on the notification list for when the tank is available, shoot him an e-mail.

PS if someone know how to post pics I can send them to you

I just got the Clarke oversize tank for my 07 and it looks great. Uses stock shrouds and petcock.
