If you are riding mx bikes and go to the klx- you will not be happy with the power- but a Bill Blue carb and big bore (about 800 us) will fix the power problem. But the suspension will still be lacking. I think the KLX is a great play bike/ trail bike. I love having a bike with a plate on it and when I ride with my kids, I have all the performance I need. But I have trouble keeping up with the ktm/ wr guys in the faster sections, but I can hang with them in the single track.
