Default KLX guys in CT? Went exploring yesterday...

Just wanted to see if there are any other KLX owners in Connecticut?

I live a couple towns from Waterbury.. Was out exploring the town last night when I was going up a mountain road.. Came to an old driveway leading up into the roads - no mail box so I figured there was no house up there..

Went up the driveway and about a ¼m in it turned to dirt.. Kept following that and what do I hear?? The distant sound of thumpers!!!

Holy #$@@ I found a full blown secret MX track in the middle of the woods - right in my hometown!!!!

I went around the track a few times - there's two big table tops, some whoops, a double...

Awesome.. I'll be going back tonight to ride it some more. .

Any neighbors want to go riding??!

Didn't bring camera, but I definitely will next time.. I'll probably go back tomorrow night with a buddy. I was afraid to do any jumps in case I fell and broke my leg and had to die in the middle of the woods... hahaa

Didn't go tonight - raining.. Tomorrow is looking good, if not, Thursday definitely

I also have a side Q.. When starting the bike up for the first time of the day - completely cold. I pull the choke, start it, wait about ten seconds, and push the choke in. It idles at about 1500-2000. If I give it a little throttle, it stumbles as if about to die.. I let off and it idles fine. I have to warm the bike up for a few minutes before I can even bring the rpms up past like 2500. After it's warmed up, the bike is perfect..

Just wondering if this is normal behavior? I have zero four stroke experience - all my riding's been two's..

Also - another question I just thought of.. There's a **** right near the choke - cable going to throttle butterfly - is that the idle adjust ****? It looks like that's what it'd be, but never saw a bike with a **** like that..

My bike didn't come with an owner's manual, and I haven't ordered a book yet..

Bike is an 07 with about 400 miles..

Thanks!

yes that's normal. 4 strokes are cold bloodedand need time to warm up. yes that is the idle adjust ****.
