Not in present form, but, correct me if I'm wrong somebody, I think any KTM can be plated with the appropriate dual sport kit..even the 2-strokes.

Thats a sweet looking bike.
Dean, I am not sure about the most recent years ktm's but all of the older ones came with a street bike title and could be registered even without a dual sport kit. 2 smokes, 50cc's it didn't matter. It was then up to you to get the safty inspections with the required lights to drive it on the road. I have heardsome say thatthey have changed the titles for the late models, but I have also heard some sayit was still possible, so I am not for sure on them.

1 thing I noticed with it... It has no magic button. And no matter what the cost, that'll haveto be fixed.
It did however come with a street title. It's just my job to safety inspect it first, then I can get the plate. I has actually never been registered.
I need a list of things including a high output stator and flywheel, break light switches, headlight, chain guard, and I'm good to go.
Ha, I tried the wheel swap already Deej. Did not work. The spacing for the SM wheels is about 3/8" wider than the space needed to bolt the KLX rear wheel. I think the tube would have a hard time without wheel locks either.. ahah
Man does it ever pull hard though. It's geared pretty tall. I think something like 15/45. And by the feel of it the tranny is geared taller as well than the KLX. It pulls haaard in first gear, oh yeah.. And all the rest of the gears. I can't WAIT to get er on some dirt tires.
I'm gettin all itchey again though. GUnna haveto take it for a spin around the yard again.

What year is it?
15:45 was the stock gearing on my '07 EXC. I'm guessing yours has the same tranny ratios internally which are vastly different than the KLX. If it's the same as mine, 13:52 will give you a similar gearing as the stock KLX 14:42. I've been running 14:50 in mine for a while and it was a little tall for the tight woods here, so I just put on my 52 sprocket and am running 14:52 now. If I was running mostly road, I think I'd use 14:48 - you might want to try that gearing. If you are going to do much off-road, try 14:50-52, that's what most folks use. With 15:45, 1st gear is about like the KLX's 3rd.
