No. The O2 sensor is attached to the exhaust midpipe near the muffler. It adjusts fuel mixture during partial throttle operation. I did not delete it. The pair valve is on the front of the engine. It injects air into the exhaust for emissions control. I deleted all of the smog equipment. That SmartMoto plate in the picture is on the front of the engine cylinder. That's where the pair valve used to be.
Can u give me a step by step of what you did to delete emissions and for pair valve with part #'s. Thinking I should do the same before power commander install. It all worked out good on your bike? Notice any difference in response or power? Would u recommend?

It works fine... but I don't think it makes any performance difference. However it does unclutter the front of the engine.
I did it as part of my bike weight reduction project. Deleting the smog equipment reduced the curb weight from 293 to 291 pounds.
Got it from SmartMoto in Greece. Stuff like this is contraband in the US.
I took off the valve from the front of the engine, installed the block off plate, and plugged in the resister plug to fool the ECU so no trouble lights turn on.
So.... has anyone installed and had success with powercommander tune? Really want to hear someone else's opinion before committing. Its not exactly cheap.

I tried to get an EJK tuner ($225) but they can't make them right now because they can't get parts, so I'm just going to run without one.
