Default KLX 250s Wheelies

Anyone got any info on how to do em? The only thing I can do is a small wheelie from the neutral then hitting it to first. Anyone able to pop it up in 1st-2nd gear? Any tips would be appreciated.

He actually made 2 other videos too. The bike even in stock form will wheelie in 2nd gear, it's just have the confidence to bounce around on the bike.

I dunno man, my junk feels grounded if you try and loft the front end on flat ground. If there is a dip or ramp into a parking lot it lifts it no problem but it's no wheelie machine.

On a side note I love his explanation in the beginning about doing a wheelie in front of people who don't want you to wheelie like a neighbor watering their grass. LoL

For doing it with stock gearing on a 100% stock no jetted motor, sit almost on the tool bag, cover rear brake, go about 9mph in 1st gear lean forward, pull in the clutch, rev to 6-7k rpm, explode back and dump the clutch, when you feel the bike lug (right after release the clutch) give it more gas(dont hold constant or you will just come back down). She WILL reach for the sky.

Or install a rear rack and put 2 100 bags of concrete on it, lol
Mine comes up easily with the all the mods but I dont like doing wheelies, my bones arent made of rubber anymore like when i was 18

That sounds like you are trying to destroy your transmission. Use your clutch.

So correct me if I am wrong. You are revving the motor up then slamming the shifter into 1st to get the front wheel up? If so then that is very hard on the gears. Oil is not going to help save the transmission if this is the case.
