Default KLX 250S EFI ., Remote fuel pump.

Hi guys,
Has anyone had any experience with fitting a remote fuel pump to an EFI KLX?
I was wondering if i can fit my carb model IMS tank if i replaced the fuel pump.

Just a thought.

It should be possible. Using the oe style petcock shouldn't be an issue. You will need to also provide a pressure regulator and a filter.

Hi there,

I know i'm late posting on this subject, i have a couple of comments.

The fuel pressure is 3 bar, not sure about the flow.

Is the original pump faulty?

need a tank return line too, don't you? I think most EFI have constant pressure constant flow, returning unused fuel to the tank.

There is a company that sells fuel pumps that might be able to give you information on their product. Quantum Fuel Systems. They have pumps for about everything. The Yamaha Zuma and WR guys use one of them for replacement of faulty factory units. I have one for my Zuma 125.
