Default Kind of a dumb question

My rear sprocket has a number on it for # of teeth. Does the front? I don't see it. Besides marking it and moving the chain/sprocket and counting until I get to the mark again, how can I tell what front sprocket I have.

I'm paranoid the previous owner put it down to a 13t.

Well I realize you only have ten fingers (well I hope), counting to 13 shouldn't be too tough.

buy yeah a 13 tooth sprocket has 13 teeth....use your wife's fingers to assist with counting.

Smart ***....the sprocket is covered by a plastic....cover...

Another dumb question. How the heck do you get your bike onto a stand with no jack? I did mine with a bunch of cinder blocks and a 2 by 4 ramp in front, it was a big pain in the ***.

Lighten up JE just havin fun.

But ya you need to take off the plastic cover to count the teeth. It'll just take a couple seconds and will look sumthin like this....that is a 14 tooth sprocket.

To get your bike on a stand.....I just shove the stand under the bike while leaning her to the side and walk and wiggle her on there.

14t stock sprockets have the rubber noise dampener I don't believe anyone has a 13t with the rubber. So just look and forget about counting.
