Anybody purchase the optional kickstarter? Does it get in the way of anything? Hard to put on? Thought it would be a good idea to have with my luck.

I also wonder if the kickstarter kit includes a manual compression release?

Good question. 11 to 1 compression may make it a little difficult to kick. Might be easier to walk home.

I believe that in order to add the kick starter you have to change the shaft and gearing, which means you have to split the case......no thanks, just another mod I will live without.
