Kenda 760's - Track Master II

RE: Kenda 760's - Track Master II
First time I heard the chain slack adjusters referred to as snails... Makes sense.
I've been told that the 1 or 2 inches of front to back adjustment there can create some real noticeable changes in frame geometry and handling.
i.e. wheelies - it would be harder to wheelie with a longer chain, because your swing arm is effectively longer.
Never done any experimenting of my own though.

Okay, y'all got my attention on the Kenda Trackmasters.
Now, what size rear tire are you running? I see them available in 120/100x18 as the largest rear tire. Is this what you're running?
Gotta get the bike ready for Ocala Forest riding in the fall.

Marty - yes, I'm running 120/100 x 18. Check the photo and you can kind've make it out. Unless you were referring to sullydirt or other folks - in that case, they'll have to answer. I don't have much mileage on mine - only about 15 miles at this point. They seem survivable on the road - I'm still getting used to them, so I'm not inclined to lean too much until I get a better feel.

Marty,
Mine are 100/100/18, I would have gone wider if I had known they would fit when I placed the order. I bought mine at Tires Unlimited, they have great prices and fast shipping.

I got 300 miles on mine, mostly dirt with very little wear. The trakmaster is the best allaround tire that ive owned that is dot approved. Tyring to figure out what tire to buy for the front thinking of going with a dunlop 739.

Here's another question. Deej has the 606 rear mounted and stated that it makes a bike a good bit taller. It has also been mentioned that the Excellas are taller than stock. The 270's are the same or slightly smaller correct? How do the 270's compare with the TM's as far as height? With the stock tires I barely touch the ground as it is and generally have to use a peg to get on if I'm in ride gear.
