is that the same frame as our klx? and if so, how much gas does that tank hold? that is one sweet ride, just trying to see how many parts are interchangable with ours.
I don't think the size of the tank matters. You get like 15 mpg on the KDX.

it's basically the same frame.. the motor mounts are completly different though. i've looked at trying to swap some of the good stuff but none of it fits on the klx. i think it's a 3.9 gal tank but am not sureandit will easily go 65 to 70 miles a tank in the woods/single track.

And now for the past three days its been freezing. Oh well that still means the water level is going down. Looks like they opened up one lane of I-5 forbig rigs to get through. Its gonna mean playing catch up getting groceriesand fuel to everywhere.

So what if yer KLX tag magically "jumped" to the KDX and then back again every so often...

Just sayin'

Hey even better, you could make the plate like one of those dealer plates with the magnets on it. That would make switching back and forth even easier.[8D]

The dealer I bought my KLX from won't put the papers thru to DMV. I asked him about a 08 KLX450 & he said good luck! He mentioned that he doesn't want to me liable for anything that may happen to someone who was riding a non dot approved bike on the road. There is another dealer that a few years ago was supposedly sued for the injuries of the bike owner because he got hurton his bike that was registered thru the dealer.

Any title from the "big 4" has a notation on it for "off-road use only" and that is why.KTM,Husaberg,Gas Gas do not have this on their titles which is why it is possible to make alot their "off-road only" bikes tagged and street legal.

See. THis is why guys like me can NEVER save any amount of money. I don't even bother to try. Once I get one loan paid off, I just get another one. Because I can't set my sights on something and go straight for it.
Say I was saving for a vechile, THIS stuff comes up all of the time. Once I save a thousand or so, deals like this start comming out of the woodwork and I can't get anywhere...
This is why I don't even bother trying to save for something, because I know in the end I'll just end up spending the money when I get halfway there... Instead I just go get financed for it, and pay it off as quick as I can so I can move onto the next thing on the list at the time...
haha
