Do you know if a 1997 kdx 200 have the same power valve govnor gear as 1998 kdx220

Check the schematics for part numbers.
And if you don't find an answer there, check on kdxrider.net

nissan, I think they are the same, but the parts numbers will reveal whether they are or not. Kawasaki didn't tread far from the original designs.
