Default K&N Filter

Hey guys, I did a couple of searches in our section and it didn't come up with anything, although I know there have been posts about the K&N Filter that fits our bike. Does anyone have a part number directly to a K&N that fits our bike exactly? Thanks in advance.

That looks like the correct number. It's a bit of a chore to get the filter in the air box but it does go in. I've beenusing k&ns in my bikes since the early 80's, no complaints.

I've been riding in the sand and dust as long as i have used k&n filters. I also use them on my truck. No problems. A little grease on the sealing faces insures a good seal. If you want to check the effectivness of the filter just run your finger around the inside of the boot running to the carb. I have lots of miles riding in a dirt cloud, (mostly because the guys I ride with are faster) and the K&n is great.

Nope not at all....K&N's are just fine, just like ole guy said....sometimes when really dusty, I putmy pre-cut piece of k&n prefilter fabric over the open airbox, but not often.... and that's just to make the k&n main last longer.. before cleaning.

I usually worry most about water gettinin on water sections...lol
