What type of windscreen setup is that? It looks really nice. Does it block wind very well as its pretty small?
Thanks for the kind words. It's a Lexan scrap I found laying about, about .040" thick attached with two small AN screws with Nyloc nuts, with a bit of clear silicon rubber added in just because it seemed like I should do it...[sm=shades.gif]

It's very little more protection, more for looks actually. When I converted over to the UFO headlite, it looked like a little shield would help the looks. I tried to taper it the same angle as the sides of the UFO. It's not anywhere near where a person would have trouble with it in a fall, and even if I hit it square on in that rare chance, it'll bend right out of the way. I'd be more concerned smacking that GPS mount for my Garmin 276C.

Oh, yeah, I got my black Clarke tank Friday the 22nd. I'll get some pics of it up tonite hopefully.
And I'm STILL carrying the 1 liter fuel bottle! I'll be the tanker ship........

Yup...aluminum dog bones are longer in the back, and 3/4" handlebar risers, so the whole bike is lowered 1.85". Bill Blue made me some very trick T6 aluminum shims that slide in between the tubes and the yoke, so I can get fully tightened bolts to hold the fork tubes. I'm short, the bike was so tall it was dangerous to ride, and now it's puuurfect.

Kenda 50/50 Dual Sport tires. They grip like crazy on the street, and I do use mine for commuting the short distance to work, the store, etc. Probably not that good as a mud tire, but they handlethe dirt road, trails just fine. I really had no confidence in the stock tire on the street. They had no feedback, they were dead, numb feeling. I gave them to Bill Blue for my fork shims and dogbones.

Cool, thanks. That's exactly what I'm looking for. Are they the K270's?

Soo.... how many miles do you typically go before your Clarke gas tank is empty??? I might get one.

I was going to start another thread, but the original topic of this one is exactly the same. I took pictures since there were sooooo many complaints before.

So I rinsed and drained the tank.

Got all the shavings out, this is only HALF of them! The rest came out with the water.
