Default Just bought 20HP of parts!!!

Well, I got a 2008 WR250X so I guess that qualifies as "parts" even though they're already assembled.

I decided I didn't wanna swap street tires our for dirt tires everytime I decided to go off-roading, so I sold the YZ250 and bought a WR250X so I'd have something to commute on while using the KLX to go offroading on.

That's a nice bike even with street tires. LOL.
Would be nice to have the $$ for two bikes.

Dual Sport ! Whats the point if one is confined to only one type of terrain. At least you mentioned that the Yamaha was a parts ride. If it wasn't, we may need to tar and feather you for that choice.

But at least you kept the KLX. So that makes you family here still.

I'll take the opposite approach of some of the others here:

Congrats! You have no doubt earned it & deserve it

A WR250X follwed me home too so I had to take it in

I picked it up today and, as the laws of nature dictate whenever I buy a motorcycle, it rained cats & dogs and hailed a bit to rub my nose in it.

I have it at my friend's house right now in his garage (where I keep the KLX) and will be installing the Clarke tank on the KLX this weekend so I'll take some snapshots of them together.

Since my only ride on it was the 30 feet or so from the truck to the garage I really have no "ride impressions" to speak of yet...

I do like the fact I can throw my leg over it easier than on the KLX (the Yammy is a bit shorter with those 17s)

Talking One Bike are you kidding me!

Heck more than one bike? You got to be kidding me?

I have one for every mood. 2009 VMax for those go fast days, KLX for those off road gravel road days, 2009 Ultra Classic for those long days, Can Am Spyder for those days that my wife allows me to have fun on the road. 1972 Honda Scrambler for those "throw back" days.

Now that's what I'm talking about...always knew I was not one of a kind.
