Uh oh...I see lots of water in those pics. I hate water. Water usually also means mud. Give me rocks and dust...LOL!

But seriously that looks like a neat event...a little trials, a little trail riding, and whatever else. A little far from neck of the woods, but I'd like to see a report of someone on the KLX board doing it.

Myself and 5 other buddies will be there. Two Husky's, a KTM 300, 1 DRZ400, and a new guy on a Yamaha TW200. I haven't decided whether to take my KLX340 or my KLX450R. The 340 is much better on the forest roads, but a little more work in the rocks.

The big water crossing is in an alternate section on the Sunday ride. You don't have to ride through it if you don't want to. They also have an adventure route for the big ADV bikes (mostly just forest roads and very little trails). We ride the dual-sport loop, and do a couple of the alternates, or "hero sections".

Sounds like the group my buddy from NY rides with. He would be riding a KTM... last name is Ryder. Say "hi" for me if you see him there!!!

I'll keep an ear out for the name Ryder.

What's funny is that even with all those high-dollar bikes, I must have had 30 people ask me what a KLX340 was last year. One guy even offered to buy it right there on the spot!

Just like harleys at bike night... They are all the same. Everyone is always interested in the bikes that are different/customized. Petes FZ1 adv bike gets more attention at bike night than any harley there.

Yep - finnaly got to talk to my buddy. He was at the Lock Haven event... sent me some You Tube links... looks like it went well, despite the rain.

Huge crowd though... I'm not sure I'd like riding with a "herd" that size. LOL

Was a great ride! Around 500 riders nut was not crowded. Well done.

The first day was spent getting use to all the changes on the bike. The 2nd day was spent really riding, until I dumped it in the last mud pit before lunch and messed up my hand. Can't wait for the next one!!!!!
