Default Jet For Stock (snorkel-less)

I've been ghosting around here for a while and have read a fair amount but couldn't find an exact case to match my problem. Couple months ago I picked up a '07 KLX bone stock (first bike!) and have been enjoying the heck out of it. I recently took the airbox lid off and to no surprise it pepped the bike up and made it sound awesome. And to no surprise the bike is a little hesitant at higher RPM's (lean?). I have no plans on upgrading exhaust for another year or two, so with that in mind, can someone offer up jetting suggestions?

I bought the Dynojet kit, went to a stage 2 setup (their needle, shims and clip) with a 128 main. I was waiting on my HMF quiet core with spark arrestor, and it ran very nice without the snorkle. OF course, with the HMF, it runs even better.

So, stage 2 Dynojet seems to work fine, even with a stock muffler.

I would go with a Dyno-Jet kit for your year of bike, it will have baseline jetting guidlines and multiple jets to fine tune if need be. Really helped my 09.

Just 2 very cheap parts will make a heap of difference. #132 main jet (Kawasaki part # 92063-1076 $7.44.) Brass collar to put under your stock needle and raise it a small amount ( Kawasaki part #92143-1667 $2.97.)

Just over $10 from Babbittsonline.com.>>>>>>http://www.babbittsonline.com/pages/...d/default.aspx (KLX300 and KLX250 have the same carb'.)
