Default Jet Kits

Is there any advantage to using a jet kit (Dynojet. For example) opposed to just buying new jets and needle, and the necessary parts to install the needle?

Thanks in advance guys.

I was going to buy just a Dynojet jet and needle, but wanted to be sure I had the right stuff available at the time of jetting, so I got the kit.
The kit also supplies a new spring. I think the spring helps a lot with throttle response.
And stickers for the tool box!
Lots of folks have used the N1TC needle from the KLX300 before the kit was available. It is adjustable like the DJ needle.
Search for the Jetting spreadsheet posted by Illking if you just want pieces instead of the kit, good info in there.

For 50 bucks I'd just buy the kit. It removes any guess work or the chance of ordering an incorrect part. Plus it gives you the obvious advantage of some tune ability if needed. If the DJ kit was double in price I'd still be satisfied with the results and happy with my purchase. Just my two cents.

On my first KLX I used the KLX300 parts and was very happy with the results. For my latest one, I sprung for the DJ kit and was disappointed in a big way. I have since ordered the original 300 parts to replace the DJ kit and will sell it once they arrive. No guesswork with the OEM 300 parts. Not so with the DJ kit.
